"Nan Larsen, DVM, owner of the Dancing Cats Feline Health Center, is
truly the best veterinarian I have ever known. Throughout my long life,
I have been fortunate enough to have many feline companions. I first
met Dr. Nan when, one snowy winter night long ago, she came out to
perform emergency lifesaving surgery on the cat I had at the time. That she had never met me or my cat (we were newcomers to Salt Lake) made her act of kindness all the more amazing. Through the years as I have come to know her (and adopt a beautiful Maine Coon cat from her clinic), I have become acutely aware of what a truly unique combination of attributes this woman has. Not only is she technically the best of all the veterinarians I have ever known in my lifetime, she has a true heart for cats. She understands them, she loves them, and she is genuinely concerned with each cat's wellbeing. She has a rare gift that I have never seen in any other veterinarian. It is not often that one finds such competence and caring love in one person; Max, my Maine Coon, has been the fortunate recipient of her skills and caring heart. I highly recommend her (and her wonderful staff) to all owners and lovers of felines. I feel very fortunate to have her caring for my beloved cat and know that he is in the best of hands (and heart)." |
